Community Sailing Programme

The Community Programme represents the first step in Oman Sail’s sailing development pathway, supporting the progression of sailors from grassroots participation to high-performance levels. The programme targets school students from both genders and is delivered through sailing schools recognised by World Sailing, with a curriculum accredited by World Sailing.

By introducing sailing within schools located near these centres, the programme provides young Omanis with early exposure to the sport while supporting the identification and development of promising talent. To further encourage participation and foster a competitive spirit, an inter-school regatta is organised, bringing together students from all sailing schools to compete with one another.
